GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors and the Fruita Monument Wildcats will begin Southwestern League play on Friday night by facing each other in a rivalry game at Central High School.
The Warriors (9-2) enter the game with a two game losing streak after winning each of the team's first nine games on the season.
The Wildcats have only a 4-7 record through the team's first 11 games and also enters the rivalry matchup with a two game losing streak.
The girls teams will begin the night with a game at 5:30, and the boy's game will follow at 7:00 p.m.
