DURANGO, Colo. - The Fruita Monument boy's and girl's basketball teams were victims to Southwestern League losses on the road against the Durang Demons on Friday night.
The Lady-Cats opened the night with a 18 point loss to the Demons, 61-43.
The Fruita boys team played in a much closer game, but still fell short to the Demons 40-35.
Both Fruita Monument teams will be on the floor again on Saturday evening against the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers.
