GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Fruita Monument baseball team opened their season with a 15-0 win over Coronado on Thursday in the first day of the 2009 Bill Fanning Classic.
The Wildcats led the Cougars 10-0 after the first inning of the win.
Fruita Monument will play Elizabeth High School at 10:00 am at Suplizio Field on Friday. The Wildcats finish with Golden at 1:00 pm at Canyon View Park on Saturday.
