GRAND JUNCTION - The Fruita Monument Wildcats coasted behind strong pitching from Cody Rahmann to win their second straight game at the Bill Fanning Baseball Classic 9-2 over the Elizabeth Cardinals.

Rahmann's first three innings on the hill at Suplizio Field were perfect while striking out four batters.

The Wildcats will now have a chance to close out the opening weekend of the season with a perfect record when they face Golden High School on Saturday. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Canyon View Park.
