GRAND JUNCTION, - The Grand Valley lacrosse team (comprised of players available from all four valley schools - Central, Fruita Monument, Grand Junction and Palisade) defeated the Durango Demons on Friday.
The Grand Valley team opened the game scoring the first five goals, John Heil (Central) scored two of those first five goals, en route to a 12-4 victory.
The Grand Valley team will host a grudge match against Durango scheduled for 10:00am Saturday at Canyon View park and will then play Summit County at 3:00pm
