GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers are winners of four consecutive Southwestern League titles. The Fruita Monument Wildcats have been in the race for a title each of those seasons. Most of the titles not decided until the final week of the season.

Once again, the scenario is a similar one.

With only four games remaining on the schedule for both teams, the Tigers lead over the Wildcats in the SWL standings is only one game.

The Tigers only league loss of the season came last week against Durango.

The Wildcats have lost two league games - once to the Tigers back in March and the other also to Durango last week.

Tuesday night, the Tigers and Wildcats butt heads once again. And like usual, there is a lot riding on the line.
