Wildcats shutout Indians in five innings

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Two days after taking over first place in the Southwestern League from the Central Warriors the Fruita Monument Wildcats shutout the Montrose Indians 11-0.

The Wildcats scored 10 runs in the first inning on Tuesday afternoon while 15 batters took their turns at the plate.

Krystina Pacheco pitched a one-hit shutout for the Wildcats. She struck out seven batters in the win.
