GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - (KKCO) After missing out on the 5A state playoffs, the Fruita Monument Wildcats soundly defeated the Westminster Wolves 41-12 in a non-qualifying game on Friday night at Stocker Stadium.

The Wildcats finished up the season with a 3-7 record. The win makes Fruita Monument only one of seven 5A teams that will wrap up the season with a win. The other six will come from the five other non-qualifying games and the 5A state championship game.
