GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Yet again, the Montrose Indians aren't a 'look-over' team in the SWL for any opponent.

Todd Casebier's Indians are second in Class 4A in rushing and Angelo Youngren leads the SWL with more than 1,000 yards on the ground this season.

It hasn't been the easiest of non-league play for the Indians, though. The red and white are 3-3 as they head into league play against Fruita Monument on Friday night.

"Our guys are excited to play in Stocker [Stadium," Casebier said during a phone conversation with KKCO 11 Sports on Wednesday.

"I like our chances ... we know we're going to have to play well and hopefully we can do that," he added.

Fruita is on a two game win streak to start league play. The Wildcats are 3-4 overall this year.
