HS Lacrosse: Fruita boys win important league game


GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Lacrosse is flourishing in the Grand Valley, and nowhere more than Fruita Monument High School.

The Wildcats took on the Summit Tigers in a league matchup on Saturday. It was a close game until the end of the 3rd/beginning of the 4th Quarter.

Fruita built momentum off goals by Zac Twardowski and Tyrelle Peterson in the late 3rd quarter, and in the 4th they added three more to essentially put the game out of reach for the Tigers.
