GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The Central Warriors started the season with two losses but have since won three straight. On Tuesday night the Fruita Monument Wildcats looked to put an end to that streak in SWL play.

And after the first 40 minutes, things were certainly in favor of the Wildcats. They held a 4-1 lead and only continued to add to that damage right off the bat in the second half.

Within minutes, Sarah Benton, Elizabeth Downing, and Jennis Hart were each able to contribute a goal and seal the game early. They finished off the night with a 7-2 win behind Jessica Smith's strong performance at the net.

The Wildcats improve to 2-0-1 in league play.
