GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- With twenty minutes left in regulation, Avery Kuper scored the games lone goal off of a perfect through-ball from Peter Martinez to give Fruita Monument a 1-0 win over Grand Junction at Walker Field on Tuesday.

It was the Wildcats' second win over arch-rival GJHS (both by just a goal). Scott Mende was credited with the shutout in net for Fruita Monument (6-6, 5-2).
