FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO) -- Nearly three weeks after opening the season, Fruita Monument is getting ready for it's first home game.
The Wildcats (0-2) host No. 9 Glenwood Springs on Thursday, 7 p.m., at Stocker Stadium. The Demons (1-1) won last year's match-up at GSHS, 36-28.
While FMHS is coming off of a bye, Glenwood Springs lost 42-0 at the hands of Montrose last week.
It will be the third match-up against a ranked opponent for the Wildcats, who lost 18-6 to No. 5 Broomfield, and fell 28-19 to No. 3 Cherokee Trail.
