Wildcats hit the road early for Sweet 16

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Fruita Monument Wildcats hit the early road for Columbine H.S. on Monday in an attempt to beat a storm.

No. 3 FMHS (21-3) is used to traveling this year as they were the last team to have a home game in the Grand Valley. And after a buzzer-beater win in overtime against No. 7 Lincoln, they are headed to No. 2 Columbine for the Sweet 16.

Game time is set for Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
