GJ ends Warriors' seasons with 2 losses

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Grand Junction capped off Central's regular season with a pair of Tiger victories.

Shafer Rubalcaba scored 14 with Sydni Brandon adding 13 points for Grand Junction to remain the top team in the SWL standings with a 48-34 victory on Tuesday.

Broderick Robinson's 16 points in the first half paved the way to victory for the Grand Junction boys. DJ Wells dropped 12 points for the Tigers while Ed Becoat led the Warriors with the same amount of points in a 63-40 loss for the Central boys.

Grand Junction concludes the regular season on Friday with Fruita Monument visiting the Tigers home court.
