GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers started their Warrior Challenge title defense with a blowout win over the Carbon County Dinos from Utah 62-31.
Junior forward Everett Robinson scored the first eight points of the game for the Tigers in the win. He finished with 14.
Geoff Baldwin led all scorers with 17 points, and Doug Brady hit three three pointers in the third quarter on his way to a 13 point night. Calvin Rock finished with eight.
The Tigers will play in the late game once again on Friday at 8:30 p.m., this time against the Bear Creek Bears. The Bears won their opening round game agains the Fruita Monument Wildcats 44-37.
