GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers beat the Bear Creek Bears 66-53 on Friday night in the Warrior Challenge and advance to the championship game for the second straight year.
The Tigers held a one point halftime lead before outscoring the Bears by 12 in the final two quarters for the win.
Five Tigers scored in double figures in the win. Junior Geoff Baldwin led all scorers with 15 points. Everett Robinson scored 13, Calvin Rock added 12, Chris Kelly hit three three pointers and scored 11, and Doug Brady scored 10 points with a trio of three pointers.
The win puts Grand Junction in Saturday's championship game against the Palisade Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m.
