GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Grand Junction Tigers continued to win behind strong defense, improving to 2-0 in the Southwestern League with a 58-30victory. The Lady Tigers, fell meanwhile, to Durango in a 54-49 decision.
The Lady Tigers trailed most of the game. They tied the score in the third quarter at 45 but the Deamons pulled away down the strech.
The boys allowed just six first half points to their opponent for the second straight night. Calvin Rock scored 14 and Geoff Baldwin added 12 in the win.
