GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction girl's basketball team pulled off and upset at Grand Junction High School on Friday night by dominating the fourth quarter to beat Montrose 50-36.
The Tigers led by one after three quarters of play but outscored the Indians 15-2 in the fourth quarter.
Kershel Claussen led all scorers with 18 points for the Tigers. Emily stark added 13 points and freshman Fawn Brady scored 10.
Jordan DeJulio led the Indians with 15 points.
The Grand Junction boy's basketball team followed up the girls win with a win of their own over the Montrose Indians 64-35.
Everett Robinson made the "Play Of The Day" on the Friday night show "11 Sports Overtime" with an underhand scoop and the foul for a three point play in the win.
