Tigers Run Comes To An End

GOLDEN, Colo. - The Grand Junction Tigers boys basketball team's run to the state title came to an end on Wednesday night when they lost in the Sweet 16 to the Regis-Jesuit Raiders 87-73.

The Tigers kept it close through the first three quarters. At the end of the third quarter Grand Junction was only down by four points but was outscored by ten in the final quarter.

Calvin Rock, Everett Robinson, and Doug Brady each scored 20 points in the loss. Geoff Baldwin added ten points.

Rock and Brady each hit four three pointers in the game as well.
