GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers improved to 3-0 on the season with a 12 to 7 win against Ponderosa on Saturday morning at Canyon View Park.
The Tigers swept their way through the Bill Fanning Classic thanks in larger part to a constant barrage of offense. That trend continued on Saturday morning. Grand Junction had three sac fly rbis through the first two innings and with two outs in the bottom of the second Geoff Baldwin blasted his first home run of the season with a three run opposite field shot to put the Tigers up by five runs.
Dylan Wiman was the winning pitcher.
