GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers and Fruita Monument Wildcats both improved to 2-0 in Southwestern League play on Saturday.
Grand Junction battled back from a 4-3 deficit to hand the Durango Demons an 8-4 loss at Suplizio Field.
Fruita fought back from behind as well, in route to a 3-2 win over the Cortez Panthers.
Fruita and Grand Junction will play each other next, on Friday at Suplizio Field.
