GRAND JUNCTION - The venue for one of Grand Junction's oldest rivalries on Thursday night was the new Mesa State soccer stadium where the Central Warriors girls soccer team defeated the Grand Junction Tigers 2-1.
Haleigh Higgins helped set up the first goal of the game for the Warriors for a 1-0 lead at the half.
