GRAND JUNCTION - Senior pitcher Dylan Wiman gave the Grand Junction Tigers a complete game effort on the mound in a 6-3 win over the Central Warriors at Suplizio Field on Tuesday night.
Wiman allowed only three runs on eight hits in seven innings. A majority of his run support came on a Bubba Higgins home run.
The win gives Grand Junction sole possession of second place in the Southwestern League standings with a 3-1 league record.
Central falls to 2-2 in league play and is in third place. Both teams trail the Fruita Monument Wildcats for the league lead.
