Wildcats Shift Focus To Potential Title Game

FRUITA, Colo. - The Fruita Monument Wildcats are leaving behind consecutive losses in order to focus on Friday night's game against the Grand Junction Tigers that could potentially decide the Southwestern League champion.

The Wildcats lost in a pitchers duel on Tuesday night to the Central Warriors dropping them into second place in the SWL behind the Tigers. A win on Friday night would put them into a first place tie with the Tigers, but the Wildcats own the tie-breaker and would take over the league lead.

If the Tigers win the game, Grand Junction will clinch the SWL title.
