GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- John Elway and Bo Jackson represent some of the best multi-sport athletes to ever play. Nevertheless, the days of multi-sport athletes - most especially the 3-sport edition - appear to be in the rear-view mirror.

But if you look hard enough, you may find a handful of tri-sport athletes still in existence throughout the state. Lucky for us in the Grand Valley, two of them call Grand Junction High their home school.

Sean Rubalcaba and Jeff Hansen participate in three separate sports at GJHS. As of today, they play baseball, but for those two, baseball means spring. Otherwise, you'll find them on a combination of platforms - the football field or tennis court in fall, or the basketball hardwood in winter.

Watch the video for more details on the busy schedule these two young stars maintain.
