UNDATED - The Grand Junction Tigers baseball team defeated another opponent by the mercy rule on Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers beat Pueblo South 12-0 thanks to six shutout innings pitched by Connor Dixon.

Dixon allowed only three hits in his complete game victory.

The run support was provided in large part by Geoff Baldwin and Tim Gastineau. Gastineau finished the game 4-5 from the plate, while Baldwin was a perfect 2-2 with a triple and a homerun.

The Tigers will be back on the field again on Thursday against Pueblo West at 4:00 p.m.
