Junction Baseball Stays Perfect

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Grand Junction baseball team cut it as close as they could on Saturday, but remained unbeated with a one run win over Montezuma Cortez.

The Tigers trailed early, then took leads of 4-2 and 7-5 before hanging on for the 7-6 victory over the Panthers.

The win improves Grand Junction's record to 8-0 (2-0 SWL). The Tigers play Fruita Monument on Tuesday.
