Tigers Win Rivalry Game Over Central

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Grand Junction baseball team remained undefeated in Southwestern League play with a win over crosstown rival Central on Friday night.

Jayke Brock got things started with a 2 RBI base hit in the first inning that ended with the Tigers leading 8-0.

Central got to withing 8-3 in the top of the fourth inning. But Geoff Baldwin squashed the rally with a monstrous 2 run homerun in the bottom of the fourth.

Aaron Berk sealed the victory with a walkoff bases loaded drive to the warning track in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving the Tigers a 13-3 mercy rule win.
