Grand Junction Baseball Beats Montrose

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Grand Junction baseball team bounced back from Tuesday's loss to Fruita Monument by beating Montrose on Saturday.

Geoff Baldwin hit a solo homerun to the opposite field in the bottom of the second inning to tie the game at 1.

Two batters later Zeph Quigley hit a solo shot to put the Tigers up 2-1.

Not to be outdone, Baldwin hit a two-run inside the park homerun in the bottom of the third inning. The Tigers won 13-4 and kept their slim Southwestern League title hopes alive.
