HS BASEBALL: Grand Junction keeps Cortez winless in SWL

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Behind a solid performance on the mound from Josh Moore, the Tigers started out a 3-game homestand with a win.

The second inning of Friday's league match-up was a good summary of the Tiger's dominance over the Panthers. Moore struck out the side in the top half of the inning and the GJ offense manufactured 3 runs on a passed ball, a sacrifice fly to left and a RBI single to right.

The Tigers improve to 11-6, 4-3 in the league. GJ has Durango on the schedule for Saturday.
