GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The GJ Tigers and Palisade Bulldogs both won on the road to open up their season.
GJHS (1-0) defeated Ponderosa 50-36 and Jamie Derrieux led all scorers with 24 points.
Palisade (1-0) beat Rangley 42-41 thanks to a game-winning bucket by Moriah Rutterbush-Rayment.
