GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Kyle Rush has a resume that not many coaches can compete with. But you can close the book on his high school coaching career; for now.

Rush is retiring from his head coaching position at GJHS after 12 years. He takes with him an amazing trophy case:

- Six SWL coach of the year awards
- Eight SWL titles
- 12 playoff appearances
- Three final eight appearances in state playoffs
- 183-72 overall record
- 2005 State Championship

Rush said the decision was based on family and spending time with his three year-old son.
