GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Week three has been circled on Robbie Owens' calendar since summer.

The Grand Junction Tigers head coach knows that his team's biggest challenge of the regular season is the Ralston Valley team that is now ranked ninth in the state.

Although the Tigers are ranked three spots higher than the Mustangs, Grand Junction hasn't played on the road yet this season.

Just to add to the drama, John Wiman isn't likely to see much playing time at quarterback due to a right ankle injury that he sustained in week two's win over Rocky Mountain.

According to Owens, Wiman may appear in a few drives, but it will be Tyler Heinsma in charge of the Tigers offense for the night.

Fortunately for the Tigers, Heinsma has seen a great deal of playing time in the start of this season as he and Wiman have been splitting time as the GJ signal caller.
