GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The No. 1 Grand Junction Tigers open up SWL play with a rivalry game against Central on Friday night.
Junction (5-0) enters the game averaging 43 points per game against a Central defense that's giving up 28 points per game. Slowing down the Tigers' offense will be a priority for Vern McGee and the Warriors.
On the flip side, CHS quarterback Taylor Sanchez will draw plenty of attention from the GJHS defense. The senior has accounted for more than 1,100 yards of offense and 16 touchdowns.
