GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Robbie Owens is worried about his offense. The same offense that's averaging 46 points per game. That's how much respect the Tigers' head coach has for the Fountain Fort Carson defense.
The top-ranked Grand Junction football team (4-0) will host the FFC Trojans (3-1) at Stocker Stadium at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers edged the Trojans 21-20 in Denver last season.
If not for a loss to Pine Creek last Saturday, Fountain Fort Carson would likely be ranked in the Denver Post media poll, which would have made the game a top-10 match-up. Even so, the Tigers are prepping for it like it is.
