GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The little tykes hit the wrestling mats to compete in the Tiger Paws Youth Wrestling Tournament.
The annual tournament is hosted by the Grand Junction wrestling team as a fundraiser for the season. Coach Rick Diaz stated that over 300 kids ranging from age 4-14 participated in today's event.
Not only did the kids have fun, but the parents were just as thrilled when every kid received a medal no matter the outcome of their matches. "We're grooming the future headliners here," said Diaz.
