GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- "A week of rest is nice, ... [but] you miss that 'Friday Night Lights' feeling."

Those were the words of DE/TE Austin Berk of the Grand Junction Tigers on Wednesday. Berk was referring to the Tigers having a bye week last Friday, but he's had nearly three weeks off.

Berk was sidelined after GJ's loss to Fruita Monument on Sept. 28th due to an injury to his left elbow.

This week's game at Montrose will be the first time back in action for the Div. I commit.

"[My] elbow's feeling really good," Berk said while wearing a protective brace over the elbow.

He plans on wearing the brace during the game and he says it shouldn't have any effect on his play.

"I feel 100% ... I [will be able] to come out and play like I normally do."
