GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.(KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Tigers hosted the Central Warriors for a SWL soccer match-up that had no playoff implications on Monday night.
The Warriors got off to a good start, scoring the first goal of the game. That score, by Matthew Miller, came off a penalty kick in the eighth minute.
But moments later the Tigers answered with a goal by Kevin Villar, tying game at one goal a piece.
The Tigers would score again late in the second half winning under the lights at Walker Field 2-1.
