GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The year 2012 gave sports fans all across the state of Colorado something to remember.

Whether it was Peyton Manning becoming a Bronco or, for Western Slope sports fans, the Cedaredge Bruins winning their first state football championship, there's a lot to talk about if you're counting down the best of 2012.

Under the list of KKCO 11 Sports Director Phil Stafford, tied for 12th is GJHS tennis star Spencer Weinberg making his third consecutive appearance in the 5A state finals match in October.

Weinberg won the individual state championship in 2010, his sophomore year, and finished runner-up in 2011 and 2012.
