GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Fruita Monument Wildcats are the 2012 SWL Champions.
The Wildcats defeated Montrose on Thursday, 9-4, to cap off a regular season record of 14-5 and a league showing of 10-1.
The Grand Junction Tigers also finished the season with a 10-1 record in SWL play, however Fruita holds the tiebreaker over the Tigers.
Playoff seeding for softball will be decided this weekend.
