A zoo in Estonia has brain-stormed a way to help deal with the global financial crisis: sell the "waste" from its exotic animals.
The zoo is located in the capital city of Tallinn.
Every year, the buffalo, tigers, elephants and other zoo residents produce a whopping 800 tons of waste.
Now, about 80 percent of the waste is turned into fertilizer and compost.
The zoo has been turning animal droppings into compost for use on its grounds since 2007.
But as the financial crisis has taken a bite out of the zoo's revenue, it's decided to sell the compost to local gardeners and farmers.
And just in case you're wondering, the zoo charges $45 per 35 cubic feet of composted animal dung.
