GRAND JUNCTION - Travis Moody and Rex Clemens did it all on Tuesday for their respective teams. But going to sleep Tuesday night might be a little easier for Travis.

Central's Moody struck out nine and drove in two runs with with a first inning triple against Fruita's Clemens in the 3-1 Warrior win. It was one of very few mistakes for the Wildcat hurler who finished with 11 K's of his own. Clemens also drove in the only run of the night for Fruita with an rbi single.

The loss is the second for Fruita in Southwestern League play. The Wildcats sit in second place, a game behind Grand Junction with a rematch of the two scheduled for Friday night at Suplizio Field.

Central keeps their playoff hopes alive with the win. They improve to 4-3 in the SWL.
