MONTROSE, Colo. - Winning football games at Montrose High School was not a common sight in the early part of the decade. But then the school hired head coach Todd Casebier and a new tradition began in the Indian football program.
In the three seasons that Casebier has been at the helm of the Indians football team he has led them to the state playoffs in each season. But just making the playoffs is no longer considered a successful season at Montrose.
The 2008 Montrose Indians are poised to return to the 4A state playoffs, but this time around they are ready to make a run at a state title.
