The Central Warriors opened the season on Friday night against the defending state champion Grandview Wolves. The season started off in shutout fashion for the Warriors in a 41-0 loss to the Wolves.

Central will be at home for the first time this season on Friday, September 5 against Horizon at Stocker Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
