GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Palisade Bulldogs football team lost just their second game of the 2008 season on Saturday. Unfortunately for them, it was in the opening round of the 3A playoffs.
#6 seed Palisade (9-2) hosted the #11 seed D'Evelyn Jaguars. Palisade trailed in the first half but came back to take the lead late in the game.
But with less than a minute to play, The Jaguars' Kyle Petry kicked a 45-yard field goal that bounced off the crossbar and passed through to give D'Evelyn (10-2) a 30-28 upset win over Palisade.
