Law enforcement officers answer new call on Saturday

Some local law enforcement officers took on a different call Saturday. They helped to serve people eating at Red Robin in Grand Junction, all in an effort to raise money for the Special Olympics.


Colorado State Patrol found heroin and crystal meth in secret compartments in an SUV during a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near Fruita, according to a press release.


A local man is adding an interesting twist to carving Halloween pumpkins. Mesa Mall had an indoor pumpkin patch for the third year. Kids could pick out a pumpkin for free and decorate it. This year was the first time Willy's Wild Carvings was there.
