1 woman killed in Denver car crash

DENVER (AP) -- Denver police say they arrested one person suspected of fleeing the scene of a car crash that killed a woman.

KUSA-TV reports (http://goo.gl/pHuz74 ) that police say the two-vehicle crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in northeast Denver.

Police say a woman driving a minivan died, and that two children who were passengers were hospitalized, but their injuries are not life-threatening.

The name of the victim was not released.

Police say witnesses told officers that the driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved in the crash ran away from the scene. One of them was later arrested.
