FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO)_A restaurant in Fruita has revived its feel to a more 'down home' style of cooking'.
Sullivan's Grill on East Aspen Street is celebrated it Grand Opening Saturday.
The restaurant had been Pancho's Villa II for well over a decade, but the owner decided there was a need for good old American dishes in the Grand Valley.
Sullivan's prides itself on a kind of food you'd find in grandma's kitchen. From hearty breakfasts, mashed potatoes, meatloaf and pork chops.
The owner says she brainstormed with those closest to her for the mouth watering recipes.
the plans to switch up the restaurant have been two years in the making. The renovations cost nearly $10,000. The owner says so far the customers seem to be very happy with the new homey look and menu.
