Mesa State To Receive Millions

The city council decided to add yet another item to next years budget, they are looking to give $5,000,000 to Mesa State College.

Recently they asked the city for for disbursement over the next ten years. The money has been added into next years budget and the next step is getting that budget adopted.

The money will go into adding classrooms, dorms, parking spots, and so much more.

The growth of Mesa State College directly affects our economy in the Grand Valley. A study conducted by the college estimates that the school puts back nearly $200,000,000 a year into our local economy.
